Safe Voting Kits
You can either donate the cost of kits … or make some yourself!
Each kit contains:
one mask
a set of protective gloves
a small bottle of hand sanitizer (1-2 oz.)
plastic bag to hold everything (quart-size is best)
ribbon or string to tie it all together
Other things you might want to add:
a short note thanking the person for voting
candy or other small treats to pass the time in line
This is a fun group activity for friends or clubs!
Once you’re finished making the kits, contact us for next steps. We have tips for distributing them in your own community, or we’ll distribute them for you if you’re nearby!
Note: this is a bipartisan project so please don’t include anything in the kits that mentions political parties or candidates or asks people to vote a certain way.
